Understanding how the axis operates beyond the individual

The Axis in the Collective

Within the logic of the TFB, the axis always organizes itself first within the individual. The collective does not create an axis, does not register experiences on its own, and does not replace the internal functioning of each person. What the collective does is amplify, reinforce, or place tension upon already existing axes.

Key Principle

"The individual organizes; the collective amplifies."

Between these two poles, human experience develops and finds its possibilities for continuity.
