Researcher · Author · Creator of TFB
Chris Montgomery is an independent researcher of human behavior, author, therapist, and creator of the Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB/TCF), a theory that proposes belief as the central cognitive axis of the human being, prior to thought, emotions, and behaviors.
His work combines practical experience, deep personal experience, and more than seven years of structured professional research, coherently dialoguing with areas of mental health, ethics, consciousness, and human development.

Chris's trajectory does not begin from theory, but from real life.
Since the age of 21, he worked in the events sector, nightlife entertainment, and entrepreneurship, opening bars, producing events, and leading teams. He became one of the biggest entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry in Brazil, living intense cycles of growth, success, highs and lows—experiences that shaped his practical reading of human behavior.
Throughout life, he faced deep trials, where he could experience situations and understand human behavior from the streets to the highest luxury:
20 years of addiction and compulsion
2 years of hospitalization in rehabilitation clinics
2 years living and surviving in Europe: at 18 years old, where he had to shelter on the street for a time
Experience in high society, became the most successful nightlife entrepreneur in Brazil: with 7 bars and two international event companies
Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and medalist in several categories
Loss of 90% of vision due to health problems linked to conditions experienced during the period of helping others
Serious hospital admissions, including a stroke that took him to the ICU
A period of more than one year living in a community/favela, by conscious choice and personal purpose
Social work via Instagram directing thousands of people for 8 years of his life
Creator of an app in 2019 that helped save hundreds or perhaps thousands of lives during the pandemic
These experiences did not distance him from the study of human behavior. On the contrary, they were the practical field that preceded the theory. From his own reconstruction, he began to study patterns of decision, repetition, consciousness, responsibility, spirituality, and meaning of life, always starting with the most complex cases. This path culminated in the structuring of the Theory of Fundamental Belief.
Key milestones in the development of the Theory of Fundamental Belief
First public manifestation about the direct relationship between an internal element and the collapse of external life. The first public record that would later become structural in the TFB.
Launch of an application uniting science, human behavior, and spirituality. Among more than 800 startups, it placed third among the five that would be accelerated.
With the pandemic, the application reached its point of greatest impact. Online meetings became daily, sometimes occurring eight times a day. Thousands of users found support.
What worked began to be organized as a method. The method allowed repetition, comparison, and refinement. Technology became methodology, and methodology became theory.
After thousands of hours of study across all possible academic areas, the Theory of Fundamental Belief was formally named and structured.
As a practical unfolding of the Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB), Chris Montgomery is also the creator of the Anonymo App, a conceptual and educational project that today explores the use of artificial intelligence as a tool to support human beings.
The Anonymo App was conceived as an environment of welcome, reflection, and internal organization, based on principles of anonymity, individual responsibility, ethical limits, and emotional security. The proposal is not to replace human relationships, diagnoses, or clinical processes, but to offer a structured space for consciousness, learning, and guidance.
The project is born from the same central premise of TFB: belief as the human cognitive axis and responsibility as a non-transferable function. Within this context, artificial intelligence is used in a restricted and conscious way, always subordinate to ethical criteria and the centrality of the human being.
Currently, Chris does not perform paid clinical consultations. His focus is on research, intellectual production, writing, and the development of educational and social projects.
Consultations occur only on a voluntary basis, aimed at people without financial means, especially in community contexts.

Chris bases his life and work on values such as ethics, individual responsibility, consciousness, and spirituality.
For him, money should serve necessary comfort, but never power. Happiness is understood as a state of mind, not a material condition.
Today, he lives in peace with his choices, his history, and his purpose.
"The message is more important than the story."
